Vigilante Group of Nigeria
Say No To Crime
National database registration begins
The Vigilante Group of Nigeria has commenced national database registration of its members, and the accreditation of registration centres in every Local Government Area. Directed by National Headquarters Communiqué VGN/HQ/COMM/09/26/01.
Registering as a member
Registration is carried out in person, at centres accredited by the National Headquarters. It cannot be completed online, and no registration is valid without the applicant being present.
Serving members: bring your PSID number. It is what decides whether you pay anything at all — come without it and you will be charged ₦1,050.
Bring also, where you have them, your existing identity card, appointment letter and NIN slip. None of these is required. A member who was never issued any of them can still be registered, and incomplete documents are not a bar.
Fill it in at home and the desk takes minutes instead of an afternoon.
Becoming an accredited centre
Community bodies, secretariats and commands may apply to register members in their Local Government Area.
What registration costs
Payable only by transfer to the
NHQ approved consultant account:
Societrics Ltd · 1312721742 · Zenith Bank
Never hand this money to anybody. Not to the person registering
you, not to a commander, not to anyone offering to pay it in for you. The amount
and the account are shown on the screen at the centre, where you can read them
yourself, and they will match what is printed above.
A centre may charge separately for its own time — agree that with them
before you begin and ask for a receipt. It is not part of the fee above.
If anyone asks for more than these figures, wants cash, or gives you a
different account, refuse and report it to the National Headquarters
below.
